Road Trip Day 9 - Yellowstone Natl Park and Tetons

  • Got an early start from the campground which was only about 6 miles from the entrance to Yellowstone. We had a wonderful day hiking around Yellowstone. We stopped at several waterfalls, Old Faithful (of course), lots of other geysers and springs. A beautiful day for hiking, a bit cloudy, so not too hot.

It was SO nice just to have John around again after missing him for a week!
  • On driving towards the south entrance of Yellowstone, towards Teton Natl. Park, we stopped at Lewis Lake, Lewis Falls and Moose falls. All these we fabulous. I can't wait to share the pictures.
  • We did not stop in Teton Natl Park, just drove through on the way to our campground in Jackson WY. Very pretty peaks, and we did get a couple of roadside pictures. Somewhere this day Steve lost his DVD case and I lost some sunglasses. Oh well. You can't have a trip without losing something.
  • Made it to our campground and set up tent. Had time to watch a DVD (from Jordan's case!).
